Oh man I can believe its been months since I've been here.

I'm really sorry about that. Been really busy and REALLY trying to brush up on my skills. Well hopefully I'll be more active in future.


Anywaay...
Here's SOME of the practice sketches that I've been doing these past couple of months. Would really appreciates some comments and critiques on it. Enjoy.

I have no critiques, really. I like her eyes muchly. And is that fur around her wrist? It looks so soft and poofy...
Been really busy this week so didn't get much sketching done.
I'm setting a goal to do at least 10 a week. Whether I come through or not is a different story.

Yo Bill, cool classically oriented style going. Love the Oil on Canvas look of the last digi.
You need to keep the sharpest detail on the focul of your subject, you have a little bit of a tendency to throw more detail on on the surrounding facial features than you do the eyes, which is a portrait nono.
Once you get your silhouette and lighting down, work in the details from the eyes outward to the rest of the face, that ought to give your subject the punch it needs where it needs it.
