Wanderlust
  • hey dude, nice stuff ! for the zomby kids' illustration, you lighted your scene as if the light is coming from above the teacher, but your main light source is coming from about the middle of the room, maybe it's a perspective issue ! it'd be faster to change the light position rather than changing all the values ! keep it up
  • i think it still works even if the light is in the middle the room,
  • new sketches...
  • :DOYO~~YOU have good feeling of the nature,go on ,,to be better!
THE girl very sexy with your painting!
  • hey OYO, nice sketches, i really prefer the second and third ones . post more often man !
  • thomas : thanks, and welcome dude !

Walid : i will try, starting now :

Here are 2 new sketches i did this afternoon, first one is a study from film still i will continue later
  • i check a lot of your pics especially the color, while I'm drawing brought me a lot of inspiration, they are really really good.
  • I am not color expert man, but most of your good paintings like http://www.dreamgauge.com/forums/extensions/InlineImages/image.php?AttachmentID=1180 and http://www.dreamgauge.com/forums/extensions/InlineImages have relatively limit pallette, like http://www.dreamgauge.com/forums/extensions/InlineImages/image.php?AttachmentID=1177 it is nice composition but the purple blue really push hard on the picture.
  • mskm : really ? that's good to hear :) I look at old master painter's work for inspiration, maybe you should go straight to the source..

Herman : That funny cause i think in most of your paintings you use too many colors... So maybe the truth is in between both our worlds ?

Here s an update on that previous painting in which i introduced a bit more color shifting in the foreground... still far from finished though :
  • Thought you knew I hate my paintings haha, I feel the forground is a bit overwelming, the orgioanl sketch has the knight has highest contrast so it pop out more, the new one's forground is too strong its contrast to other thing reduce the important of the character
  • Nothing to crit OYO, just want to say that your environments are very inspiring! Maybe try and show us more figurative stuff?
  • Herman No i don't hate your paintings herman.

    Moojuice : Thanks

Here s an update. I understand your point Herman, but its a different composition then...
