I saw an interesting video from the Web2.0 conference (linked below) on time management and productivity - the answer to "where do you get the time" question.

Talks about time being spend in front of the tv being spent on the internet - doing things like posting on forums/community sites, participating in wiki's and so on; as something that is much more productive and better for our society. Worth watching as it's something that can be applied to finding time to draw, learn things or pursue your personal interests.

I usually watch tv while I'm eating :ninja:

At the moment I devote about a half an hour a week to television. Sometimes I'll have random spurts where I'll just catch episodes of the Simpsons or Arrested Development for a few days, but those usually come along every few months.

The internet is definitely the thing that sucks up most of my time. Television doesn't stand a chance.

Ditto Thunder, I spend a lot of time on the net as well, but I think in general it's time that's spent much more productively as you are actively participating in doing something :D, rather than sitting passively in front of a TV.

If I ever need to watch something like anime I do it on my pc anyway, no need to put up with ads and specific time slots.

    ^mostly agreed^
There really aren't even many decent shows left on tv. That's probably a big part of why I watch mostly cartoons, but good cartoons are getting harder to come by too.
During the school year I usually watch less than an hour a week. When I do watch tv I'm usually doing other things too (I'm a tv eater too!). :ninja: I've recently been addicted to Avatar: The Last Air Bender and I've been watching Dancing with the Stars (the American version of many other celebrity dancing shows world wide) though, so I've been watching more recently. :fufu: And hockey. My roommate somehow converted me into a hockey fan in the last month, so I've been watching the play offs.
